Fleetwind used to be in the Navy. Now she works for the Navy as a U.S. civilian contractor, which is much better because she gets many of the same benefits but doesn't have to wear the funny clothes and never has to worry about the office building where she works going to sea. She's an electronics technician specializing in IFF, and thus hates seeing IFF referenced in roleplaying games because they always get it wrong Wrong WRONG. But also because it's often used as an IC knowledge twink excuse for immediately knowing, say, that jet out there is a bad guy. By the way, IFF doesn't really identify friends AND foes. Just friends. If that random air blip doesn't come up as friendly, it could be a Decepticon... or you could have just opened fired on some poor unaligned civilian! :D

• Fleetwind is occasionally a grumble-grump, but she's trying to work to improve that.
• Fleetwind wanted to use the name "Jaylyn" on the wiki, but it wouldn't let her for some reason. :( It also wouldn't let her use Fleet. :( :(
• Fleetwind's previous MUSH RPG characters includes a talking cat named Lee'tan from a very old and very dead Narnia MUSH, and a mutant named Helen Andern played on two now-dead X-Men themed games, one named X-MUSH and one named Uncanny X-MUSH.
• Over ten years ago, during the period after X-MUSH died but before Uncanny X-MUSH opened, Fleetwind used to hang out on a talker named TooMUSH in the UXM refugee area. Occasionally, she'd wander over to another refugree area and bug a punch of people pretending to be giant robots who were waiting for a MUSH called Transformers: 2005 to be built. She considered joining, and even went so far as to create a Decepticon OC (a character whom she now recognizes to be a hopeless SNAD), but eventually lost interest when UXM was completed before 2k5.
• Just think. If she had stuck around, she'd now be one of the game's "founding fathers." Now she's just some uppity newcomer instead.
• Fleetwind is an admin on a multi-canon Transformers bulletin board RPG. It's all she can do to not chatter about that game all the time to the 2k5ers, and to chatter about 2k5 all the time to the folks on her board.
• One of these days Fleetwind is actually going to add her character's page, but she wants to finish the picture she's working on first, and she's taking her darned time with that picture.
• Fleetwind has added her OC's page, but she's still too lazy to finish that picture.
