The humans have made a startling discovery deep in the Amazon rainforest, pointing to the location of a mysterious "Pandora's Box". Having refrained from informing the Autobots of their discovery just yet, they follow the clues to their own backyard, Washington state, and find a lot more than they could imagine.

A temporal crisis looms and a collection of Autobots, Decepticons, and Terrans find themselves thrown into the distant past.

• Soundwave is Sneaky - While Cyclonus and Starscream posture and threaten each other for the title of most obnoxious subleader, Soundwave quietly executes a clever, sneaky plan.

• The Only Way Home - Rodimus Prime and Impactor have a talk about whether or not they should try to change the future.

• The Battle of Dinobot Island - Autobot and Decepticon forces converge on Dinobot Island to look for their missing leaders and investigate the source of mysterious energy spikes only to find that they aren't the only ones lost in time.

• Optimus's Awakening, Cyclonus' Sniping, and Archaeonix's History - Optimus speaks with Rodimus as Cyclonus snipes at them. Meanwhile, Archaeonix tells the tale of how he came to be there.

• Megatron's Awakening, Cyclonus' Sorrow - Megatron awakens, and things do not go according to Cyclonus' plans.

• Battle for the Future - When the time comes to return to the future, Megatron turns up with plans of his own.

• Future Surprise - The time travelers have returned home, but there's one last surprise awaiting them.

• Operation: Party the F--- Out - Epilogue... kinda.
