Summary
The DIN Night is a Decepticon scientific vessel that went AWOL ages ago. When it showed up in the fringes of the Sol System, transmitting a distress beacon, Decepticons, Autobots, and humans alike investigated.

While it was just a one-shot, one-night plot, the action got a bit split, into some people staying and fighting in the loading bay while others pressed into the Main Corridor, some people getting dumped into a laboratory downstairs, and some people pressing into the command deck to try to crash the ship.

Plot
Once aboard the decaying DIN Night, the Autobots, Decepticons, and humans discovered they were not alone. The Transformers were assaulted by a patchwork cyborg dragon that had been made out of several of the crew of the DIN Night and several different alien species, while, the humans and the Nebulan, Blowpipe, were captured by the insane half-plant scientist Roostock. His goal was to steal the identity of one of the humans to better be able to infiltrate Earth. Topside, the dragon was defeated, and a decision was made to crash the DIN Night into the sun. Below, the humans and Blowpipe were able to escape and kill Rootstock. The Decepticons, Autobots, and humans were able to escape, but they may not be the only thing that escaped the ship...

- ICly, this ran on October 31st, 2030. (OOCly, October 31st, 2009.) Halloween!
- Darkwing suggested a plot where the Decepticons try to reclaim an old ship of their that is falling apart and run into some horrific cyborgs, such as a big dumb dragon and a smart little plant-based cyborg. Catechism decided that making the ultimate goal of these monstrosities to infiltrate organic societies by stealing their faces might be a cool thing to menace the Nebulans and humans. Everyone loves menacing Jayson Redfield, right?
- DIN stands for 'Decepticon Imperial Navy'. Galvatron suggested it.
- 'SOS' is sometimes taken to mean 'Save Our Souls'. Halloween, when this plot ran, is also known as 'All Souls Night'. So 'SOS Night' basically meant 'Save Our Souls Night'. It's a very weak pun, but someone asked about it, so there you have it.
