Landmine craves adventure, and sometimes even the epic Autobot/Decepticon conflict isn't enough for him. A hero in the romantic sense: he wants to daringly rescue innocents from the clutches of nefarious villains, or explore dark caverns for long-lost artifacts. A hothead sometimes distracted by his daydreams, but still hard-working and dedicated to getting the job done right. Pretender shell constructed of high density Cybertronic alloys impervious to many armaments, designed for deep space combat and mining operations. Outside of shell transforms into an all-terrain exploration vehicle with magnetic wheels to lock onto surfaces. Mining facilitated by electromagnetic, sonic, thermal and radiation scanners. Armed with an Astro Blaster that shoots concentrated bursts of incendiary explosives; shell also carries a saber with laser cutting edge.
History
Like the other Pretenders, Landmine was kidnapped by Thunderwing and experimented on. Augmenting their natural talents with monstrous organic modes, the former Decepticon scientist used them all to gain access to Hytherion's power.. though he was foiled by Galvatron, who attempted to steal it for himself.
