<Cybertron> Rodimus Prime says, "Neither. I'm shutting you down, Galvatron!"
<Cybertron> Galvatron says, "HAHAHA, very well, Prime! I'LL SEE YOU IN HELL!!! AHAHAHAHA--"
<Decepticon> Carnivac starts cackling, trying very hard to subdue it somewhat. "What a dastardly delightful day to be a Decepticon."
Ledge
A rough wind suddenly tugs on you momentarily as you gaze around, whirling up from the seemingly infinite depths below. The ledge you stand on is barely wide enough for your feet, making your position more than ordinarily precarious. But without the slightly distorting effect of the glass walls, you can see the structure far more clearly. It definitely matches the design of a fusion-engine piston, yet its size would imply an engine of staggering size... and duplicate pistons nearby. The darkness around you is too thick, however, to see any such devices even if they are close by. Below there is nothing but interminable blackness, and the security of the illuminated globe-chamber through the panel seems ever more appealing.
<Decepticon> Galvatron says, "Prime should have listened to me! He should have given me what I wanted! But he never listens, oh no! HE'LL PAY THE PRICE ONE WAY OR THE OTHER!!!"
<Decepticon> Carnivac says, "And collect it you shall! Eheeheeheehee"
You drop Dangerous Terrain.
<Decepticon> Galvatron says, "Heheh, that's the spirit, soldier!!!"
<Decepticon> Carnivac mad-giggles. "Preferably out of their metal hides."
Deep below Cybertron's surface, there is a massive fusion-engine piston, which is merely a part of a far larger structure hidden deep within the planet. Or it was hidden--for now, the fusion engines which drive the planet through space are slowly but surely emerging. The surrounding terrain, for miles around, is transforming rapidly and in ways that are difficult to predict. What was a floor moments ago is now a wall. What was safe ground to stand on just three seconds ago saw a component of unknown purpose slam down on top of it... right on top of an unfortunate Seeker gumby's legs.
"G-Galvatron help me!" the Seeker squeels as he tries to pull himself free.
"I DETEST WHINERS!" Galvatron snarls at the Seeker. The tyrant has chosen to hover in mid-air, and is maneuvering back and forth with his anti-gravity drive to prevent himself from being damaged by the shifting terrain. "Stand your ground, Decepticons! The Autobots' last hope of thwarting us is to sabotage the planetary engines, and they can only do that by coming HERE. Let them come! Let them come... TO THEIR DEATHS!!!"
FTL engines are technical matters, and techicalities matter not a bit to Cutthroat. What does interest him is ripping Autobots into beak-sized pieces. "Me stand ground! Me tear Autobots apart! They not succeed!" he says to Galvatron.
Since the Autobots don't seem to have shown up just yet, he remains in Robot mode, with his weapon slung over his shoulder.
Tentakil smiles pleasantly as the seeker from the background has a limb crushed, "Now now, no need to complain i'm sure someone will come get you eventually, everyone is important to our efforts you know." He doesn't bother going to help the poor mech as maybe he can be used later to dostract a well meaning Autobot, plus with all his extra appendages he has to keep a sharp optic out to avoid a similar fate.
Soundwave hovers near Galvtaron, running frantic sensor scans on the piston. "Piston integrity: Fifty two percent. Defense critical." he says in an unusually uneasy tone. "Attempt to predict further effects of fusion unpredictable." he says, darting out of the way of a collapsing pillar, and resuming his scan from the other side of Galvatron.
"Here, let me get that for you," Motormaster offers, deploying a short chainsaw extension from his left forearm and advancing to messily carve off the gumby's legs at the knees. "There you go," Motormaster coos mockingly as he pulls the hapless gumbyseeker free and holds him up by one arm to set down somewhere a little less mobile. "Is that better?"
"I guess he had more -pressing- matters, hahaha!" Just like a real episode, there's suddenly this new character that was never there before! And that would be Carnivac, who isn't above taking some amusement in the plight of even other Decepticons, cackling as he hovers out of the way of the moving parts. It doesn't really matter where he came from, the potential victory at hand has an even bigger smirk than usual curled across the warrior's metallic lips.
Despite the gleeful cackling he's on the watch though, weapon held in his hands and ready to deal with the eventually Autobot intervention once the appropriate dramatic moment for interruptions comes.

Among Galvatron's cadre of loyal -if unruly- Decepticons is a strange creature; It seems to be part wolf, part bat, and part reptile. Parts are covered in shaggy black fur, others in spikes, but as mis-matched as it's patchwork appearance is, this creature is clearly dangerous. It slinks apart from the rest of the Decepticons, following it's nose, one ear cocked towards the sounds of ominous machinery behind the walls. Behind the beast walks an armoured Nebulon, decked in black and pink to match the lupine monster. "Better watch your STEP, Brisko... Wouldn't want any ACCIDENTS, now would we?" The wolf-mutant snarls at the nervous Nebulon walking in his footsteps.
Flaming Winnebago <Rodimus Prime> had actually already been on his way when Galvatron started his radio-taunt! The entrance to the engines is relatively near Debris, and all the activity has drawn the Autobots' attention. Well, that, and the whole transforming planet thing. However, the underground tunnels are confusing and treacherous, especially now, and so the Autobots are making their own entrance instead!
Rodimus Prime follows along behind Impactor, who, as a drill tank, currently has the lead. "How much farther, Impactor? We don't have much time left!"
Kup turns into a pickup truck, nothing fancy, but he can tell you, there was a day when transforming into anything at all was something special.
Folding down upon himself, Impactor transforms back into his Drill Tank mode.
Diamond tipped drills bore through the tunnel with as much torque they can muster, spinning away while spitting back rubble behind him. <<Not much farther Prime, we should be on top 'o them in about thirty astro seconds..>> Impactor emits back to the caravan behind him.
It's certainly not a stealthy approach, but hopefully with Galvatron hellbent on destruction and the already planetary vibrations.. their ruse won't be found out too soon.
Battlecruiser <Scattershot> transforms into his Scattershot mode.
And like that, vicious drills tear through the wall and deposit the Autobots into the room!!
Cybertruck <Kup> is trucking on along with the party. He grouses, "This reminds me of /two years ago/. Could the Decepticons at least get new material? I swear... back in ecksy-ecks, the Decepticons had this plot to siphon alla our courage, turn us into cowards, and then turn the courage into energon to fuel a super-laser, but see, the problem was, the courage caught on fire. Battle o' Burning Courage. Now see, /that/ was an evil scheme!"
Scattershot trots along somewhere in the Autobot convoy, then bursts out into the room, flexing his limbs as if he's stretching. "'Bout time...let's rock and roll!" Click-snap! goes the charging lever on his automatic acid pellet rifle as he prepares for battle.
"Beachcomber was one of the first to transfer over Earth when the order came to evacuate." Fortress Maximus comments as he follows up the rear of the team of Autobots, his many high powered lights mounted on his body frame piercing through the darkness but accomplishes very little in illuminating anywhere except anything in front of him, "He'd have been able to pin point the originating source of the seismic activity underneath Debris much quicker than we had. The limited height clearance of the tunnel that Impactor has drilled forces the Headmaster leader to move in a hunched down position, his hands are kept forward to support against the walls in case he loses his balance, "Two years ago, Kup?" Fortress Maximus' optics widens briefly in surprise, "Just exactly how many times has the Decepticons attempted to move Cybertron?"
Galvatron sneers over at Soundwave. "ONLY fifty-two percent!? These engines were supposed to have been repaired! How am I supposed to move Cybertron ANYWHERE when you people don't do your jobs!?" Galvatron seems especially unhinged today, if the increasingly manic look on his face didn't give it away. Or the constant screaming. "Nevermind! Keep watch for the Autobots--" He stops rambling. The rumbling noise just increased in intensity. Or rather... SOMETHING ELSE started rumbling! "Autobots! That must be one of their damnable DRILL TANKS! Decepticons, OPEN FIRE!!!" Galvatron is the first to begin firing... at a wall. Maybe there's Autobots behind it?
Meanwhile, the seeker is cut free by Motormaster, but it does him little good. He tries to crawl away from two panels sliding towards him, but he's nowhere near fast enough, and he's promptly decapitated. "AAHHHH--" *SHUNK* The transforming terrain is nearly as dangerous to everyone else!

Wolf Mutant <Fangry> hears something rumbling behind a bulkhead. It could be more of that ominous mechanical noises that are filling these caverns and access tunnels, but it seems more urgent, and much closer. Fangry's suspicious are proved correct as the Autobot burst forth into the chamber. "GRAR! The Autobots have FOUND US!" Fangry snarls, as the room begins to churn like a diabolical monster. Snatching up Brisko in one mangy claw and flapping out over the abyss with his leathery batwings. "I'll throw you all into the PIT! You'll all FALL to your DEATHS!" The beast says, with much spitting and gnashing of teeth, lunching at the nearest Autobot with jaws wide.

Darn bat-wolf is lucky, he can stand on two legs -and- fly in his animal mode. Carnivac hasn't found a decent spot to land and use his quadroped form safely, so he's still hovering when the Autobots come bursting into the chamber. "And here come our party crashers now," he comments as he turns in the right direction with his weapon ready. "Let's give them a warm welcome .... TO OBLIVION!" The manic smile doesn't leave his features when some of the debris shaken loose from the transformations pelts him, wobbling uneasily in the air even as he's trying to pick out a target. So instead of pelting the BRIGHT FLAMING WINNEBAGO he intended, the swing from getting smacked causes the blast to go towards the old clunker following him.
"Galvatron, the Autobots have arrived." Soundwave says, swiching off his scanners, and drawing his rocket launcher. "Diversion of fire from piston highly advised." he continues, and floats down behind one of the supports that looks somewhat stable for the moment, just to be proven wrong. As he is about to hit a button on his chest, the pillar collapses. He leaps quickly to the side, hitting the button, but losing his aim.
Combat: Carnivac strikes Cybertruck <Kup> with its Was aiming for the brat shot the old geezer instead (Laser) attack!
As the ground begins shaking, Cutthroat transforms, hopping into the air and flapping his wings. "Arrrk, ground have mind of own," he says. Fangry's exclamation alerts him to the presence of Autobots. "Good, they find us, now they find out me cut them to pieces!" A blast comes out of his beaked mouth, aimed at Scattershot.
Cutthroat eagerly folds out into his bird-monster form.

<Decepticon> Carnivac says, "Ahahaha, the planet itself is trying to destroy them... But that doesn't mean we can't help them along the way."
<Decepticon> Cutthroat says, "Planet no destroy before me can!"
Tentakil grins at the somewhat simplistic Terrorcon, "Oh yes i'm sure there'll be plenty of ripping and tearing to be done, just be careful you don't get yourself caught in anything. I bet you're very good at that sort of thing aren't you. Now me i'd much rather that we all got along and got closer together, it's just so... satisfying." Never the less even with all his talk of friendship he draws his blaster as Galvatron starts yelling and blasting walls.

<Autobot> Scattershot's words drip with menace. "Time for us to do the same. Everyoby keep your heads down!"
<Autobot> Rodimus Prime says, "Priority is taking out the engines themselves."
Motormaster trips and hurts himself on a jagged piece of seeker! "Unf! At least it gives me satisfaction to know the Autobots are faring no better!" He tries to hover up into the air and get away from the worst of the transforming scenery, landing on a still (for now) sort of balcony or outcropping, without a railing of course. But it'll do for what he intends... and that's blasting Impactor with the rotary atom-smasher cannon he's deploying from his right arm!

"Don't be absurd, Kup. You can't siphon out someone's /courage/!" Rodimus snorts derisively. "You're just making things up again. Oh, and Max, it happens pretty often, although that time we were actually helping. Cybertron would have been destroyed if it had stayed where it was." As soon as Impactor is through the wall, Rodimus Prime transforms, landing on the ledge near the impromptu entrance before immediately jumps out of the way of a transforming panel slamming down. The young Prime then leaps from moving panel to moving panel, running surely and nimbly over the chasm. "Yeah, it's great to see you guys, too," he says to the attacking Decepticons, "but right now I've got bigger priorities," he adds, firing towards one of the giant pistons instead of any Decepticon! Unfortunately, in the time it takes for him to fire, he's blasted by Soundwave's disorienting sonic attack! This causes him to mistime his next leap, and leaves him dangling off the edge of one of the giant, sliding panels by one hand, photon eliminator held in the other!
Flaming Winnebago <Rodimus Prime> transforms into his Robot mode.
Combat: Rodimus Prime misses Galvatron with his Photon Eliminator Blast At A Piston Get Out Of The Way Galvatron! attack!
Cybertruck <Kup> answers Fortress Maximus, "Well, at least three times... no, four? Bah, gotta be more'n that. But two years ago, they had our help in movin' the place. A cosmic storm was gunna blow the planet up if we didn't more it." And then the walls slam out and trap him! Grunting, Kup transforms to narrow himself down and escape. And then, he gets jumped on and mauled by a wolf. Kup's optics narrow, and he winds back a punch and throws it at Carnivac's muzzle, snapping, "Get offa me, you mangy mutt!" A glance over at Fangry. "Where'd Galvatron get you creeps, the pound?" And then finally shouted at his ward, "I'll show you making up, you blasted punk!" 'Making up' apparently is code for 'punching Decepticons'.
The pickup truck rises up into the old veteran Autobot, Kup.
Combat: Kup sets his defense level to Aggressive.
Combat: Kup strikes Carnivac with his Punch attack!
Scattershot gets battered and tossed around by the ground shaking. Then, before he can recover completely, in short order he's savaged by Fangry, singed by Cutthroat, sonic'd by Soundwave. "This...this..." He leaps into the air, does a neat backflip into his jet mode and then blasts into the air, turrets and weapons firing in practically every direction. "THIS IS MY KIND OF RUMBLE!!"
Scattershot transforms into his Battlecruiser <Scattershot> mode.

Perhaps being first one out of the gate was a bad choice, as it's a series of bad misfortunes after another. He's lucky to avoid Galvatron's direct assault, but unfortunate to get tagged by both Soundwave's and Motormaster's offerings. As soon as the Drill Tank hits the ground, it splits in half and reconfigures into robot form.. dashing forward at the Decepticons.
"Keep 'em on their toes, we don't have ah chance ta fail 'ere gang!" Impactor roars out to the troops, stooping low mid-stride to snatch up some sizeable chunks of rubble and hefting them at the Decepticons.
The Drill Tank shifts and transforms, revealing the Wrecker leader Impactor!
Combat: Impactor sets his defense level to Fearless.
Combat: Impactor misses Galvatron with his Rock Shot! Area attack!
Combat: Impactor misses Motormaster with his Rock Shot! Area attack!
Combat: Impactor strikes Wolf Mutant <Fangry> with his Rock Shot! Area attack!
Cybertron continues to rock and shake as it seemingly protests against Galvatron's latests scheme! This translates to a partial tunnel collapse just above Fortress Maximus, who's millions of years of experience in all things related to building has honed his senses to recognize such dangers, "Hey, watch out! There's a tunnel collapse in progress!" Winding up his right arm, Fortress Maximus swings his right fist into the area of tunnel collapse, the exerted kinetic force applied being enough to keep the tunnel from at least collapsing on him and the few other Autobots around him.
As if one danger wasn't enough, another presents itself as blaster bolts drills through the walls in front of Impactor before the Wrecker leader had even finish leveling the last of the terrain! A few of the blaster bolts digs into the tunnel wall beside Fortress Maximus, causing the the Headmaster leader to raise an optical groove in alarm before replying back to Kup and Rodimus Prime, "I'm surprised Cybertron can sustain such levels of seismic disturbances."
Eventually the last of the wall collapses and the Autobots pour out, Fortress Maximus being the last amongst them! Enemy fire drops upon him and the other Autobots relentlessly as each and everyone clears their own path! In this case, Fortress Maximus pushes ahead in front and drops down to one knee, leveling a few choice weapons fire at the first big target nearby!
Combat: Fortress Maximus sets his defense level to Protected.
Combat: Fortress Maximus strikes Soundwave with his Low Yield Photon Beam (Laser) attack!
<Autobot> Fortress Maximus says, "*cough* There's dust everywhere. Has anyone seen the engines yet?"
Galvatron gets his foot stuck in between sliding panels, wincing as it gets squeezed. But it doesn't take him long to pull it right back out, the panels slamming shut as soon as he does. And then he sees the Autobots bursting in--in particular, his hated nemesis, Rodimus Prime, who just dared to take a shot at the fusion piston! Galvatron growls as an explosion erupts across the surface of the structure, and Galvatron stomps over to Rodimus Prime, heedless of the shifting terrain. "Go ahead, Prime! Destroy the engines--if you've got the firepower for it! The FTL drive will still activate no matter what, and when it does, Cybertron will still head to its destination--ADRIFT, thanks to you!"
He grins cruelly as he tries planting a foot on Prime's fingers as the Autobot leader dangles from the ledge. "I bet you wish you could fly..."
Cybertron's terrain continues to go berserk in the meanwhile!

Soundwave dodges fire from all angles as the Autobots pour out. He ducks behind a piece of fallen wall as he recalibrates his energon flow, and quickly taking stock of the condition of his comrades.
<Autobot> Rodimus Prime says, "They're all around us, but we need to find the central power source."

Perhaps Tentakil should have been a little more careful as the Autobots burrow there way in and start blasting. In short succession he is shot and partially blinded which leaves him oblivious to a part of Cybertron transforming next to him which catches a couple of tentacles almost tearing them from his body pulling himself free just in time to avoid another piece coming down from above. "This would be so much easier if it was filled with fluids. Hey! Flying Autobots really shouldn't be allowed, they're supposeed ot be on the ground where i can reach them." Taking aim Tentakil fires a few times at the airborne technobot.
Fortress Maximus moves to the Observation Chamber.

<Autobot> Specter says, "Are you and the rest of command set on remaining until the last, or shall we deposit a shuttle nearby just in.. case?"
Fortress Maximus comes out onto the ledge through the hinged panel.

Even as the technological cavern shifts around, with dangerous repurcussions, Fangry manages to avoid the worst of it with his preternaturally keen senses. Scattershot's hail of weaponsfire is equally avoided, as Fangry quickly covers his flank with one armoured wing. The hefted chunk of rubble blindsides the tracker, but with his animal-like reflexes and sharp claws he manages to avoid falling into the depths of the huge pit(Which, unbeknowst to him, is actually a huge piston). The creature then transforms, roughly shoving the Nebulon ih his clutches upon his shoulder to form a head. "SCATTERSHOT! It's time to DIE!" He snaps, leveling his pistol at the Technobot and firing a blast of curcuit-searing energy.
With Brisko forming the head, Fangry transforms to robot mode.

Mechanical Wyvern <Cutthroat> gets hit by Scattershot and flaps his wings angrily. He's enraged to the point of wanting to peck Scattershot's afterburners out. Maybe the pep talk from Tentakil helped. Why afterburners? Well because Scattershot doesn't have optics accessible in his current mode!

<Autobot> Rodimus Prime says, "Keep a shuttle nearby, minimum safe distance from the planet."
<Autobot> Specter says, "Acknowledged, Specter over and out."
Carnivac takes a few hits from the Technobot's wild firing, but most of his attention is on Kup when the old-timer slugs him in the face. Unfortunately it does nothing to wipe the wicked smirk off of it as he staggers backwards. "The only pound here is going to be you." Does that even make sense? "As into scrap metal!" Okay better.
As the world continues to fall apart around them he hops back from a crumbling platform, and decides to opt for the mode that has more feet to keep stable on. Not to mention it has an even bigger mouth to smile with, showing all those sharp teeth. "Your oil pressure is going to explode if you keep that up. Here," the cannon on his back swings around towards Kup and fires its molecular-movement reducing, system freezing ray at the old mech, "My anti-thermal cannon will help you chill out."
Carnivac drops to all fours, turning into a mechanical wolf.

Motormaster catches the hurled boulder in his left hand, wobbles momentarily on the uncertain footing he's got up on the ledge, and pitches it back down at Impactor! "Commander!" He calls down to Galvatron. "Are there any of these Autobots we're NOT to take out? None of them really look like they'd have that data you want!"
Combat: Motormaster strikes Impactor with his Insufficient Postage Return To Sender (Kick) attack!
<Autobot> Cerebros says, "I'll send Gasket out on patrol and see if I can find that FTL drive that Galvatron mentioned, Rodimus."
<Autobot> Loadout says, "Grnngh, I'm almost there! Sorry for being late I...oh the heck with it, this is what happens when I don't have -wheels- anymore."
<Autobot> Rodimus Prime says, "Good thinking, Galen."
Fortress Maximus transforms into his Battle Station <Fortress Maximus> mode.
Rodimus Prime subspaces his gun so that he can switch from one arm to the other, moving himself out of the way of Galvatron's boot. From there, he swings himself around, trying to leap back onto the sliding plate - hopefully right into Galvatron while he's at it! "You're the madman who activated the engines, Galvatron. I won't take responsibility for starting the insane schemes you set in motion, but I'm sure as blazes going to see them finished."

<Decepticon> Geo says, "I have no damage, Soundwave."
Loadout arrives through the same tunnel that the Autobots took to get here, albeit late. He's not overly strong, or physical for that matter. He's average sized by Autobot standards, and worst of all, he has no vehicular form to help him get from point A to point B quickly. Such it was that he lagged behind, and only now comes up out of the tunnel, hauling himself up with some difficulty. A few stray shots lance past overhead, prompting him to duck his head briefly, before taking stock of the situation. "Such chaos!" He exclaims, optic visor flashing brightly in alarm. He always feels out of place in the middle of this sort of craziness, so right now his best option is to let someone -else- deal with it! He reaches out and grabs onto the first Autobot's arm that he can find.
...and stares at the Hook that the arm ends in. "...I'm not going to ask. Beggars can't be choosers." And with that, he starts to transform, reconfiguring and crawling up Impactor's forearm as he reforms into his alternate weapons mode, the Wrecker leader suddenly having the added weight of a heavy CANNON on his right arm!
Unfortunately it also covers up his hook.
Loadout's arms lift above his head, parts lock together and his torso spins about as he transforms into an imposing looking heavy cannon.

<Decepticon> Tentakil says, "I have suffered thirty two percent damage Soundwave, so kind of you to ask but i really wouldn't want to be a bother."
<Decepticon> Carnivac heeheehees. "He's such a nice guy... I'm still over half strucktural intergerty.. though if this -place- keeps hitting at us as much as the Bots are..."
Battle Station <Fortress Maximus> releases the trigger on his fusion-powered photon rifle as the tip of his weapon's barrel continues to track Soundwave, that is until the Decepticon tape commander manages to duck behind a pillar before he was able to squeeze off a second shot. That's the price of picking your shots carefully, sometimes opportunities will slip away! Another side effect of tunnel visioning though becomes apparent as a structure above Fortress Maximus comes crashing down, most likely the result of the effects of the planetary engines on Cybertron's terrain!

The pillar bumps against Fortress Maximus' left shoulder, creating a sizable dent into his armour plating and causing him to cry out before slipping to the side and shattering into fragments. "Ugh! Don't stop moving! The environmental hazards will get the best of you if you do!" As if guided by a higher purpose, Fortress Maximus drops down and enlarges considerably into his battle station mode. Gasket and Grommet both races out of their storage compartment, with Gasket being controlled by Galen on scouting duty while Grommet races towards Scattershot and pelts the Technobot leader with... yes... MAGIC HEALING LASERS!
<Decepticon> Cutthroat says, "Awwwk, me only hurt little bit! No need repairs yet!"
Combat: Battle Station <Fortress Maximus> quickly patches up some of Battlecruiser <Scattershot>'s minor injuries.
Gasket and Grommet has arrived.
Fortress Maximus drops Gasket and Grommet.
Kup is, of course, shot by Carnivac's awesome gun. Kids, go buy Carnivac's toy. His faded old grey-green takes on a distinctly frosty hue, and he starts moving much... more... slowly... Stomping slowly, he tries to grab Carnivac and chunk him into something that looks important. Breaking stuff, yeah!
Combat: Kup strikes Mecha Fenrir Wolf <Carnivac> with his Bad Dog! attack! [Pulled -2]
The rock impacts off of Impactor's helm, throwing his head to the side with whiplash. Knelt down on one knee, the Wrecker leader growls and raises his arm to shoot off a pointy harpoon attachment at Motormaster. "Damn, musta hit me harder than I thought.. arm feels heavy." he grumbles, lining up the shot.
"You got some stones, Decepticreep.. howabout we cut through the chit-chat though.." Impactor trails, about to trigger the projectile when he catches a.. Autobot on his arm? "Uhh." he mumbles, then shrugs his shoulders. "Sure, why the 'ell not!!" Squeezing off a shot from Loadout, the recoil kicks back and shakes the Wrecker momentarily.
"Now -that's- firepower!"

Battlecruiser <Scattershot> is knocked from the sky by continued attacks. He's able to power away from the hated Terrorcon, but then Tentakil coats him in slime, and that Ion Pulse Gun in particular seems to sap the power output from his engines. He manages a crash landing, but luckily there's Fort Max's little pit crew to help patch up a few bits. "Thanks guys," Scattershot acknowledges, before transforming into his robot mode again. "Wouldn't want to check out of a party like THIS too soon!" He raises his rifle to his shoulder and then points it at Cutthroat, but keeps his optics moving for other incoming attacks. "First you, TERRORCON. Then all your ugly friends!"
Battlecruiser <Scattershot> transforms into his Scattershot mode.

Combat: Scattershot strikes Mechanical Wyvern <Cutthroat> with his Pistol attack!
<Decepticon> Motormaster says, "If you want to repair someone, you could repair me. That Autobot cannon is... impressive."
Leaping over another folding section of transforming floorpanel, Soundwave lands at the side of Carnivac. Before the other Decepticon even knows what's going on, Soundwave switches to a welding torch, patching up a large, saprking section on his ally's midsection.
Combat: Soundwave quickly patches up some of Mecha Fenrir Wolf <Carnivac>'s minor injuries.
"KILL THEM ALL!" Galvatron screams as he ducks under Rodimus Prime's kick. "They had their chance--they're out of time, and I could care less what happens to them now!" As he reaches for Rodimus's head as he swings by, Galvatron adds, "I COULD CARE LESS ABOUT ANYONE! If I can't move Cybertron where I want THEN I'LL MOVE IT RIGHT INTO THE MAW OF HELL ITSELF!!!" And should he succeed in seizing his nemesis's head, he will promptly slam into the ever-shifting floor!
Galvatron said that to Moto, but it applies to everyone, really.
And of course, Cybertron continues to transform in a manner that is both very dangerous and very difficult to predict!

Mechanical Wyvern <Cutthroat> manages to get shot again by Scattershot. "Rawwwwk! Me tear you pieces! Them not find them all when you die!" Lashing out with every part of him that's sharp, pointy, and razorlike, the Terrorcon Wyvern tries to carve Scattershot up like a thanksgiving turkey.
Again, when the terrain of the ground shifts again, the flying Terrorcon is out of its reach.

Motormaster retracts his atom-smasher and brings up his arms to shield his face as Impactor winds up his big new gun, but it does him little good- the sustained barrage of crackling ion blasts shoves him from the platform and sends him falling toward the churning, buckling floor of the vast chamber. "I hear THAT, Commander!" Transforming before he hits, Motormaster guns his engine and lands in third gear, rolling swiftly down a slope which suddenly becomes a hill. Fearlessly, he brings the hammer down and ramps into the air on a trajectory that should take him towards (if not over) Impactor!
Motormaster slams his great mass to the ground, converting into a big black cabover semi.
Combat: Kenworth K100 Aerodyne <Motormaster> sets his defense level to Aggressive.
Tentakil smiles broadly as he blasts Scattershot who then plummets groundwards, "See i told you, Autobots just shouldn't be in the air, besides we should all stay together nice and close so we can really get to know each other betterrrrrrrrrr." Tentakil is having a really bad day as he is caught by another chunk of moving scenery and dragged from the battlefield or at least to the outskirts of it.

<Autobot> Scattershot says, "Prime! While I was airborne I got a look at some kind of side chamber. Could be the engine room. They've got a lense in there!"
<Autobot> Rodimus Prime says, "Which way? Direct us there, Scattershot!"
Mecha Fenrir Wolf <Carnivac> cackles at Kup's sluggish movements... but it's cut short as the effect is not enough to keep the old coot from flinging him into some machinery that seems to serve no purporse but to be there to break. Thankfully as he's getting up Soundwave is there to take some of the damage out of his armor.
The mecha-wolf's heightened senses ears the crumbling of structure, and in one of his more lucid moments Carnivac barks (literally) "Look out!" and kicks Soundwave out of the way with his back legs, taking the cluster of falling pipework on himself.
The debris is farther scattered as he jumps out of the pile, bounding towards Kup and making a flying leap to try and latch onto him with his oversized sharptoothed jaws!
<Autobot> Cerebros says, "Can you upload the coordinates to Maximus, Scattershot? They seem to be ignoring Gasket for the moment."
<Autobot> Scattershot says, "On it."
Combat: Mecha Fenrir Wolf <Carnivac> strikes Kup with his My What Big Teeth He Has attack! [Pulled -2]
Ion Assault Cannon <Loadout>'s first realization after he's transformed, set up Motormaster as a target, and sent out a flurry of Ion bolts hurling in the Stunticon's direction?
*Oh no, I went and chose one of those Wreckers, didn't I?*
His second thought is made aloud as the whole ground starts to shift in dangerous ways towards Impactor. "Oh no, look out! LOOK OUT!" Well, too late to really warn the Wrecker leader about the terrain hazard. Not to mention too late to warn him about the INCOMING SEMI TRUCK OF DOOM either. Metal crunching sounds and sparks galore fill the air, and somehow Loadout manages to avoid damage to his immobile form in the process. Maybe Impactor is the good stereotypical soldier who protects his weapon! Or maybe he's just being bounced around so much it's really just coincidence.
All Loadout can do is try to help where he can, another targeting solution filling his status panel, centering on Moto once more and projecting a holographic targeting display over his right optic, looking like some cool little technological 3d superscope thingy.

<Decepticon> Carnivac cackles."Kill, kill them all and let Cybertron's own shifting buring them in its girffffffff" The rest is muffled out by his chomping down on something.
Scattershot shifts his footing, moving with the buckling landscape this time. His erratic movements also make it that much harder for Decepticons to draw a bead on him, and he's able to duck and then shimmy away from Cutthroat's frenzy of attacks. He quickly changes his his on his rifle and thrusts the stock towards Cutthroat's head to get some distance. But rather than follow up, he pauses to touch the side of his head, sending a burst transmission to Fortress Maximus.

Cybertron continues to be a violent mistress as the things fall from the ceiling and the floor beneath shifts! In fact, it seems as if fate has decreed that it doesn't like Fortress Maximus! The ground underneath the large battle station begins to rumble and lift... except it doesn't?! Looks like when you're big and overweight like Fortress Maximus, even minor terrain shifts can't move you. That's not exactly a compliment either. "Scattershot! Impactor! Keep your head down, you two!" Fortress Maximus announces through his externally mounted speakers as his massive form begins to reconfigure, while his size doesn't alter, his appearance has changed dramatic. Soon a space battleship replaces the battle station and takes flight, its side mounted dual laser blasters swirvels to life and directs its barrels towards the black Stunticon leader before fairing a pair of brilliant yellow blaster bolts.

<Decepticon> Cutthroat says, "Caw! Need fixing soon!"
The Kenworth's grill meets the Wrecker's gut, not only slamming him backwards.. but leaving some nice grill indentions into his frame. Keeping Loadout somewhat safe from harm, the small Ionic cannon is still shaken up by the ramming. "Sorry little buddy.. couldn't dash outta way in time." Impactor attempts to caution Loadout, wearily picking himself up off the ground.
Glaring at the Stunticon, Impactor charges once again back into the fray. Striking forward with the gun arm, he attempts to punch it through the grill. "Let's end this with a.." Squeezing off a shot, hopefully squarely inside Motormaster's engine block. "BANG!"
Combat: Impactor strikes Kenworth K100 Aerodyne <Motormaster> with Ion Assault Cannon <Loadout>'s Ionic Showstopper! attack!
Grommet circles around the room repeatedly for a while until Fortress Maximus uploads the coordinates he had received from Scattershot to his drones, at which point Galen instills new purpose to the two intrepid Roller wannabes. The two drone promptly begins racing towards the direction of the FTL drive.
Rodimus Prime leaps from one plate to the other as a second one comes sliding through, avoiding Galvatron's attack in the process. From his new, moving perch, he fires down at the Decepticon leader using his arm-blaster. "Yes, Galvatron, you will, if I let you. Which is why I'm taking you down for good." But for all his words, his optics go wide as he thinks he spies something, and he begins to once more leap from panel to panel, heading now... to the FTL drive!

Kup has a wolf stuck to him. Just great. Well, he's got a team to support, so he hoofs it after Grommet and Rodimus, hoping that the wolf will just fall off or something.

<Autobot> Rodimus Prime says, "Looks like Grommet found the thing. Autobots, to the FTL drive!"
<Autobot> Fortress Maximus says, "Coordinates upload received, Scattershot. You may have just saved Cybertron yet!"
<Autobot> Scattershot says, "Well hooray for me."
As he finishes up the patch, Soundwave looks up to see a huge chunk of ceiling come down on the wolf-con, barely managing to dodge out of the way himself. His optics dim as if rolling his eyes, and switches to a straightening tool and torch...again, when he spots Kup. Seeing an opening for an escape, a floor conveniently shifts up, and Soundwave leaps over, blocking any fire from the rear as he escapes, now running for the heavily damaged Motormaster.
The terrain's transformations become ever more complicated, and faster, and more dangerous! The planetary engines are beginning to rise up to the surface and it's never been dangerous in this room than it is now!

Mechanical Wyvern <Cutthroat> has his beak punched in by Scattershot. He screes angrily and transforms. "You punch me, me go Terrocon-slag on you!" Now he prepares to lay a beat-down on the Technobot. Unfortunately as he does so, a slab of terrain rises up and smacks him!
The bird-monster rears up, his beak folds down into his chest, the wings fold, arms and legs pop out, and Cutthroat appears in robot mode.

Tentakil looks at the danger filled distance he's got to cross to rejoin the fight and shrugs his shoulders, "This is really not the right place to be having a fight, though it is fun!" Deciding not to bother wasting time with travelling all that far he instead transforms into a various dangerous stationary mode and tries to draw a bead on Scattershot once more.

Galvatron is battered around not only by swinging shifting bits of Cybertronian terrain, but also by Rodimus's wrist blasters! The tyrant stumbles around with each hit, snarling loudly and angrily. "Grrr, blast you Autobots! Blast the Wreckers! AND BLAST IMPACTOR! In fact... heheheh... I think I WILL!" And he throws himself forward, falling down into his cannon mode. He aims at Impactor, and then fires a devastating blast that casts the entire area in a magenta color! "DIE IMPACTOR DIEEE!"
Galvatron falls forward, collapsing into himself as he converts into his dreaded artillery mode! S**t just got real!
<Autobot> Loadout says, "Oh bloody HE...LOOK OUT!"
Combat: Galvcannon <Galvatron> strikes Impactor with his Galvcannon attack!
Combat: Impactor falls to the ground, unconscious.
<Autobot> Impactor says, "INCOM.." and breaks into static.
Kenworth K100 Aerodyne <Motormaster> drives through the searing crossfire from Impactor and Fortress Maximus' energy cannons, coming out the other side with enough holes punched in his trailer and cab to make him look like a cattle carrier instead of a bulk hauler. Thankfully, Soundwave is right there with the pit stop, and after a moment of parking to let him weld a few of the more glaring wounds shut, Motormaster charges back into the fray! Not for Impactor, whom Galvatron has just blown to smithereens, of course... but instead, transforming and drawing his sword to say hello to Impactor's little friend!
With a loud clacking and grinding sound, Motormaster pulls himself up into his grim humanoid form.

Ion Assault Cannon <Loadout> goes through a very rare experience! Close-range exposure to Galvatron's immense cannon blast without actually being the target. Some paint boils away on his hull as a result, and the metal along his stock turns superheated as Impactor is blasted mercilessly by the Decepticon leader. "Gyaaaaaah!" he screams out in a near panic as Motormaster lunges in to finish the job too!
Alot of coincidences seem to be on Loadout's side today. Lady luck can't hold out for him forever, can she? Though she's at least smiling on him for the moment! Impactor's unfortunate circumstances does mean Loadout's salvation, as he is forcibly de-merged from the Wrecker's right arm and send spinning end over end through the air just barely out of reach of Motormaster's swing.
Barrel over tip, the heavy cannon spins, trailing wires and bits of metal from where he was forcibly pulled free of Impactor's arm...where will he land!?
Combat: Ion Assault Cannon <Loadout> takes extra time to steady himself. [Pass]
Mecha Fenrir Wolf <Carnivac> intends to cling to Kup and drag him down, but when he tries to get some purchase with his claws some wires scattered by the shifting landscape tangle around his paws. Then catch on some metal protrusion and yank hard enough to pull him off, slamming muzzle first into the already unstable ground. "Stop trying to smash us, -they're- the ones going to blow up your engines!" he chides at the planet around them, then takes a moment to chew through the wires around his feet.
"Come back here you, I wasn't done playing yeeeet!" Still cackling and grinning despite his injuries, he leaps and bounds across the unstable platforms, at least trying to find the non-breaking ones to follow the Autobots safely.
<Autobot> Decibel says, "Sure thing, mission secure channel ThePits up and running."

Right before immediately realizing the impending doom upon him, Impactor forcibly shoots off Loadout alongside his hook attachment. And just in the nick of time, it appears.. as s**t got real.
The cannon's blast impacts into his chest cavity, immediately eating away any armor plating currently situated around his laser-core. Likewise, the damage persists up to his shoulder joints and down to his hips.. splayed open like a frog ready to be disected by a lab class.
Blasted back into the far wall, Impactor slumps over himself.. already taking on a greyish appearance. Whether out of plasma scorching or because of systems shutdown.. the Wrecker leader is out of this fight.
<Decepticon> Carnivac emits a cackle-like snarl. "With pleasure!"
Scattershot has left.
FTL Room
Within the planetary engines there lies a smaller room, one that contains what looks like a larger scale version of an FTL drive in a starship. Unlike other FTL drives, this one is large enough to move around in. Crisscrossing the brightly chamber are energy streams that lead directly to none other than the Coludarr lense, which is currently suspended between two chrome cylinders.

Rodimus Prime's optics go wide as Impactor is downed, and for a moment he starts to change direction, though he catches himself and turns to continue on to the FTL, leaping from moving panel to robot arm and to sliding lever as needed. His scowl deepends as Soundwave immitates him over the Autobot frequency, though he doesn't slow down, eventually entering the FTL room itself!

Kup grabs the spinning Loadout as he tumbles through the air. The idea of an Autobot turning into a gun offends some of his old-fashioned sensibilities, but his 'likes blowing up Decepticons sensibilities' outweigh those, at least for now. He asks, "You okay there, kid? Fusion cannoning's nasty slag."
Ion Assault Cannon <Loadout> reacts instantly when Kup grabs hold of him. Almost instinctively in fact, as it's probably a permanent part of his programming. The sudden ratcheting and clanks of transformation as he reconfigures himself around Kup's right arm instead now, perfectly molding into place and merging with the old codger.
Yeah, that's right. Grumpy old Autobot with a big gun. This just got even MORE real.
"I...I'm fine." Loadout states shakily, his vision all spinning and dizziness and heyhey.
Scattershot backs away from Cutthroat, using the rifle like a quarterstaff to parry the attacks now. Some sixth sense that sometimes comes to the aid of heroic warriors (well and Technobots too) warns him. Or maybe it's the sound of Galvatron's cannon firing in the background. In any case he ducks and rolls, leaving Tentakil's lighting strike to ionize the air above him. Scattershot pushes off of the ground with one hand, lurches to his feet, and checks his rifle, only to turn and follow the other Autobots towards the FTL room. He pauses just outside of the entrance, spins and raises his weapon - all of his weapons - spraying pellets, lasers and artillery shells at the Decepticons still outside as he backs his way in.

Cutthroat manages to dodge Scattershot's blast while entering the room. "You not succeed! We beat you! Even whole planet beat you!" Suddenly, he's not feeling so great. What just happened to his armor? He transforms and breathes a steady stream of fire at Scattershot. Well if Galvatron can get in some barbecue action, so can he!
Cutthroat eagerly folds out into his bird-monster form.

Galvcannon <Galvatron> transforms, and charges after Rodimus Prime, heedless of the dangers represented by the somewhat unstable FTL room. "PRRRIIIIME! Come back here, you will not stop my destiny, no, too many times have you thwarted me--I swear to you, this time, *I* shall win, and you shall be ground into dust as I ascend to glory! Hahahaha, GLORRRYYY!!" He laughs, becoming completely unhinged as he lunges at Prime, and tries to bash his head in with his fists.
The artillery cannon's back section snaps apart into two legs, its treads convert to arms, and the main body slides down as GALVATRON rises up before you!
Combat: Galvatron misses Rodimus Prime with his Bare Hands attack! [Pulled -2]
Mecha Fenrir Wolf <Carnivac> goes low as Scattershot spews fire out the doorway, using the lower profile of his four-legged mode to slide under the assorted shots and slide past under him... Only to hit what appears to be some sort of null space in the warp of the other room that flings him haplessly into the air. "Whooaaaaah! Who put the sugar in my tank, the world has gone upside down trippy!"
As a volley of fire heads his way courtesy of Scattershot the room under Tentakil suddenly shifts and changes and he finds himself rudely deposited in the ftl section. The way he came in is gone moments later as things continue to shift around outside but thankfully there's none of that going on in here. Though there are a number of odd spacey wacey, timey wimey things happening but thankfully Tentikil is standing still in a pocket of normality. "Oooh look an old guy! Hey you! Want a recharge, it's free!" Tentakil discharges his newly filled load in the direction of Kup.

<Decepticon> Galvatron points out the obvious. "Hnnh, beware, this room is experiencing bizarre anomalies!"
<Decepticon> Carnivac bwahahahs. "Around and around and around it goes, when it stops who the slag knows."
Motormaster feels less... substantial, somehow, as he enters the chamber. This is not something Motormaster is comfortable with. He's used to being very substantial. "Oh, no you don't, you parasite! I've had enough of you already!" He charges at Kup, grappling at the oldster in an attempt to disarm him of Loadout!

Scattershot wades through the bizarre effects of the FTL room. Huh, feels kind of like being at one of Jazz's parties. But as Cutthroat announces his fiery intentions, the Technobot is forced to break into an evasive pattern. He charges forward into the room, running a crazy pattern - right, left, sudden stops, rolls and ducks, zigs. All of which lets him evade the Terrorcon's efforts. Stopping on the far side of the room, Scattershot changes clips on his rifle (tossing the spent one carelessly over his shoulder), hits the bolt release and then hefts it to his shoulder once again, but with the chaos of the battle he can't find Cutthroat for a moment. Instead he draws a bead on Tentakil even as he drops to one knee. "This is for before! And for the time before that! And the one before -- no, wait, I got you back for that one didn't I. Okay, just the last two!"

Combat: Scattershot strikes Twin Lightning Rifle with his Automatic Acid-Pellet Gun attack!
Ion Assault Cannon <Loadout> suddenly finds that...HE'S BLIND! BLIIIIIND! Whatever the effects of the place are, he's suddenly in perpetual darkness! Something is interfering with his sensors and he can't see -anything- around him for that matter. How fortunate is it then that he relies on someone else to do the shooting for him, right? Still it's disconcerting, to say the least.
"I can't see a thing!" He calls out, but forces himself to focus on the moment, his internal generators kicking up into overdrive as he starts to regain lost power as fast as he can. If Kup can do the aiming and shooting, then he'll do his best to make sure the old Autobot has all the 'ammunition' he needs! Or at least that was his full attention until he feels Motormaster grabbing onto him, and a sudden tug of war issuing between the other two, with him in the middle.
"GYAAAAAAGH!" he calls out in pain as he feels bits of his armor buckle under Motormaster's grip, a hard *CRUNCH* issuing out at the same time as he feels like he's being pulled apart in two seperate ways!
Of course the question for Motormaster is...is it wise to grab onto a gun and try to wrestle it away when the one holding onto it is Kup?

Kup has a gun on his arm. Huh. That's weird. He mutters, "Reminds me of them symbiotic weapons from Tactigon. But this place... damn, this place is hella weird." It dazes Kup badly enough that he walks into a wall and cracks his own armour. Luckily, though, the whole walking into a wall thing takes him out of Tentakil's line of fire. Then Motormaster tries to gank his new gun buddy. Oh snap, oh no, Motormaster didn't! Kup's natural instinct is to try to punch Motormaster in his ugly lavender face for that, but the arm he'd be punching with has got a gun on it, so it comes out as a cannon blast instead.

"Autobots, attempt to disable the energy beams heading /towards/ the lenge without harming the lense itself!" Rodimus shouts. He's... got a bad feeling about those lenses, and would prefer to avoid destroying any more! The Autobot Commander ducks beneath Galvatron's lunge, then steps /around/ the Decepticon leader, firing at one of the energy beam generators as he tries to remain in a spot of relative normalcy.

Reality alters dramatically all around Fortress Maximus the moment he crosses into the threshold of space that the anomaly is affecting. All of the sudden the Headmaster leader finds himself feeling as if he's in all three of his different modes at once. In fact, he SEES different versions of himself around him moving in slow motion, some versions of him as a robot, others as the space battleship, and even a few as his battle station. It is as if reality is interpreting all the possible things Fortress Maximus could have done and presenting it. Thankfully this is all only something Fortress Maximus can see, as his two trusty drones can confirm through the video uplink they're transmitting back to him.
The momentary daze that afflicts Fortress Maximus eventually passes, the large battleship begins cruising forward again towards the lenge that Rodimus Prime had directed. Soon the weapons batteries all over the battleship swirvels to life, the dual laser blasters turns its barrels upon the lenge and begins opening fire. Meanwhile two distinct laser sights paints the area just behind Cutthroat, while the other one paints the area just behind Motormaster. The mortar launchers' barrel adjusts its angles before lobbing a pair of low yield shells at its targets, "Take cover!"

Galvatron flies into a rage as Rodimus Prime blasts one of the beam emitters! It promptly explodes, and its absence causes even more strange anomalies! Indeed, the entire room becomes shifting colors, like some sort of nightmarish disco! "NOOOOOOO! Curse you Prime! CURSE YOU! Why can't you just let me have what I want!? ONE TIME!!! One blasted time, hahaha, just enough so I CAN KILL EVERY HUMAN ON THE EARTH! THEY DESERVE IT ANYWAY!!!" He raises his cannon up and attempts to blast Rodimus in the back!

Twin Lightning Rifle can't exactly dodge when on dry land in this mode but he does try to swivel out of the way to little effect as acid starts to eat into him and then an anomoly enhances the effect and a large chunk of his shielding is dissolved, "Owww that's not very friendly of you, i thought you guys were supposed to be all peace and anemones?" Transforming again he hunkers down and continues his assualt on Kup, spurting a jet of black fluids in the old codger's direction.

Mecha Fenrir Wolf <Carnivac> finally drifts far enough that he drifts out of the null point and thunks rather haphazardly to the ground. "Let's not do that again..." It'd sound like a complaint more if he wasn't still smiling, and remains doing so as he transforms back to robot mode... Well, it seems Kup has his hands busy with the Stunticon, so he decides to give the other Primitive a helping hand. Or more like a helping gun, drawing the cannon that had been on his back as a rifle, pointing it at Scattershot, and firing the system stifling weapon once more at the Technobot. "This twilight zone shall be your grave, Autobots!"
Combat: Mecha Fenrir Wolf <Carnivac> sets his defense level to Aggressive.
Carnivac flips up from his grinning mecha-wolf mode into his manic robot mode.
Combat: Carnivac strikes Scattershot with his Anti-Thermal Cannon attack!
Combat: That attack has slowed Scattershot, making him less efficient.
<Autobot> Kup says, "Fortess Maximus, what the frak!? Get over here and fix Loadout! Autobots shooting Autobots, I swear, it just ain't right. In my day, we watched where we were aiming."
Motormaster is flung back from Kup by the point-blank discharge of static electricity, hits a wall and slides down to sit dazed for a moment, where to add injury to injury he ALSO gets mortared. Climbing slowly to his feet, Motormaster tries to find some cover in the weirdly shifting chamber from the mortars while raking his eye lasers back in Kup's direction.
Soundwave ducks under a shifting beam, and ends up next to Cutthroat, who he notices is extremely damaged. He grabs the Terrorcon's bent wing with one hand, braces it against a knee and jerks, straightening out the damaged area. Switching then to a welding iron, he patches the hole made in the straightened metal.

Combat: Soundwave quickly patches up some of Mechanical Wyvern <Cutthroat>'s minor injuries.
<Decepticon> Carnivac says, "That's one hell of a glare you have there, haha!"
Mechanical Wyvern <Cutthroat> stops flailing after the blinding effect settled, but he knows Soundwave is here to do some repairs. He sits remarkably quietly, considering the state he's in. "Yes, yes, fix! Fix more so can destroy more!

Ion Assault Cannon <Loadout>'s status panel flickers offline then online again as the force of the explosion rattles him to no small degree. Some steam erupts from his cooling vents after the blast that at least helped propel Motormaster backwards. He doesn't want that Stunticon any closer than possible, afterall.
"Rrrgh. So much firepower everywhere..." he groans, dual generators hitting up to a high pitched whine as they start pouring more energy back into his systems.
On the status panel, the energon level readout ticks back up from the yellow zone, just into the green again.

<Decepticon> Tentakil says, "Of course not, it's words that kill."
Rodimus Prime is knocked forward onto his hands and knees, his back a smoking ruin while his armor is degraded by the strange temporal effects. He growls and pushes himself to his feet. "And that's why I /won't/ let you have what you want, Galvatron -because what you want is always destruction!" He turns towards Galvatron to charge towards the Decepticon leader, hand replacing itself with a buzzsaw. "But if you're going to force me to deal with you before I take your new toy out, I guess that's just the way it is."
Battleship <Fortress Maximus> begins to descend downwards towards Loadout and Kup, before transforming into his battle station mode and dropping the rest of the way onto the ground. It's not a long fall, but a fall nevertheless. "Ugh, even my perception is being altered." The repair bay on the battle station opens up and supplies are lowered down by the automated robotic claws inside before Gasket and Grommet arrives to be loaded up. A few seconds passes and the two intrepid drones races off towards Loadout before the pair fires magic healing beams at the ancient Autobot again.

Kup roars in fury when Galvatron strikes down Rodimus Prime and just kind of sprays shots at random Decepticons - the wolf because he's blasted annoying, the creepy calimari, the creepy cassette player, and Galvatron, of course. Impactor going down was bad enough, this whole mess with the destruction of Earth and moving Cybertron is bad enough, but Rodimus, too? Ah, but the lad's not out yet, Kup finally notices when he's done with the spray and pray. He mutters, "Vector Sigma's shiny disco ball backside, this ain't good."

"YOUR destruction. And the destruction of ANYONE who dares to oppose me!!! And what better way to deal with you, Prime, than the UNKNOWN! For if you will not allow me to transport Cybertron to its destination, well, maybe I'll just send YOU THERE!"
Then, Galvatron lifts Prime up and begins to carry him towards... the lense! "What do you suppose will happen if I throw you at the lense, Prime? I have a theory! It'll shatter into pieces, unleashing its energies upon you, and as these are the very same forces which make FTL travel possible, I daresay that you will be making an involuntary trip to another point in the galaxy! Perhaps even the same spot Cybertron was going to! And that could be anywhere! Perhaps a black hole will take you, hm? LET'S FIND OUT!"

Mechanical Wyvern <Cutthroat> is finished being fixed, and immediately heads for another potential victim. Unfortunately another strange effect causes him to be blinded for a second time. Flapping wildly as he tries to clear the 'fog' from his optics, he just might try to get a peck or two in on Fortress Maximus, if he's lucky. "Stupid room! Why always make not see?"
Combat: Mechanical Wyvern <Cutthroat> strikes Battle Station <Fortress Maximus> with his Flailing Wyvern alert! (Kick) attack!
Carnivac ducks and darts to the side, evading the scatterblasts of ionic power the oldtimer is lobbing around with his latched on partner... though gravity doesn't seem to be on Carnivac's side tonight. First hoisting him into the air, and now he stumbles into a spot were it's gotten stronger, causing some of his already damaged armor to buckle and split. "It's like reality is coming apart like a giant cosmic zipper... Yes! Destroy the Prime, leave them no comfort in this cold cruel world!" Carnivac is grinning from audial to audial at this point. "Ahoooohahahaha!" Turning off the speciality setting to his rifle so it just fires normal energy blasts, he starts unloading around the room at some of the Bots present.
Except Rodimus. Because even he isn't insane enough to mess with Galvatron's destruction of his archrival.
Battle Station <Fortress Maximus> says, "+autobot Rodimus!"
Upon seeing Galvatron pick up Rodimus, Soundwave just stares, as Cutthroat goes off and the welding torch fizzles out, with an expression as if he just saw a Stay Puft Omega Supreme.

Krakenoid <Tentakil> smiles happily as he squirts his dark fluids all over Kup and that wannabe gunformer but then the old geezer loses it, maybe the strain of it all or something. Severely blasted Tentakil staggers, even more so than usual when in his kraken mode on land and starts to make an adorable waddle for it then something odd happens and his sensors are suddenly blinded by swirling colours, "Oooh pretty, wish i could, wooooooah!!!"

Motormaster doesn't find the temporal weirdness nearly as disturbing as Tentakil, which makes him glad that Tentakil seems to be running out of steam. Motormaster pops back up from behind a large piece of machinery and lets fly with another dual infrared laser beam from his eyes at the geezer, more specifically the geezer's gun.
Combat: Motormaster misses Ion Assault Cannon <Loadout> with his Trick Shooting (Laser) attack!

Ion Assault Cannon <Loadout> is 'ancient' in the sense that his body and such are indeed from those years waaay way back. Mind you, he cheated for the past several million by being offline and locked up inside of a medical stasis container for all that time. All the same, he marvels at how the magical pixie energon healing beams start to put his armor back together and make him feel a heck of alot better all around. Pretty good in fact! "That is MUCH better, thank you!"
And to boot, he's been pretty lucky with all the psycho acid-trip colors and being able to shrug off most of the effects! For now, anyway.
He's suddenly aware that there's more firepower coming his way from Motormaster's direction, but somehow just barely manages to avoid getting hit! Though he does end up catching a stray shot from Carnivac in the process. "Gnngh..." he mutters, another jet of steam erupting from his cooling ports, but right now ALL focused on Motormaster, "I'm sorry you seem to hold a grudge, but I won't give in just because of it!"
Again his status panel blinks and lights up, and again that cool looking holographic targeting display pops up, emitted over Kup's right optic, and clearly highlighting Motormaster's position behind the piece of machinery he's chosen as cover. "There, right there!"
Combat: Loadout takes extra time to assist Kup's next attack.
Rodimus Prime is lifted into the air by his throat and carried closer and closer to the lense itself. His hands go up to claw at his throat while he struggles and kicks. "If... if that's what it takes... to end your mad scheme... I would..." Then his legs swing in unison towards Galvatron's mid-section, knocking the Decepticon leader off balance! The moment the Unicron's grip is loosened, Rodimus's feet hit the ground, and he with leverage back, he grasps the Decepticon by the torso.
"But I /think/ I've got a better idea!" he yells as he swings the Decepticon around and towards the lense itself!

Kup likes his acid in his musket, instead of being a property of the room that makes it hard to hit Decepticons. He yanks Loadout out of the way of Motormaster's shot. Apparently, sitting on Kup's arm is a dangerous place to be. He blinks in surprise as a targetting reticle pops up emitted over his optic. For a moment, he wonders if this is More Weird Time Slag. But no, it is instead Awesome Shooting Motormaster Slag, instead! Kup replies, just a bit uncertainly, "Uh, okay, kid," and he blasts away at Motormaster.
Scattershot tries to shake off the effects of the attacks he's been pelted with. Some have missed, others have hit home...they're starting to blur together. In other words, still a great fight. "You small fry still around?" he shouts, looking at Cutthroat, Carnivac and Tentakil. "Time for some cleanup -- Technobot style!" he shouts. Even while titanic planet-shaking events and effects go off all around, you can count on Scattershot to see a fight through. He transforms into his battlestation mode, secondary weaponry coming online while his main cannon warms up and prepares to fire.

Combat: Battlestation <Scattershot> sets his defense level to Fearless.
Battle Station <Fortress Maximus> remains motionless as Cutthroat sweeps in to harass his fortress' skylines, soon dents are left behind as evidence of the Horrorcon's assault, albit it's largely superficial. Stray blaster fire also strikes the eastern side of the battle station, leaving blackened blast marks upon Fortress Maximus' ramp. Nothing seems to be jolting the Headmaster leader into action, nothing that is until his sensors alerts to him the danger Rodimus Prime is in!
The large battle station stands up, and compacts into Fortress Maximus' robotic form. Soon his large blocky legs begins to carry him towards the direction of the two factions' respective leaders, that is until another of Carnivac's weapons fire splashes into him, jolting Fortress Maximus backwards all the while getting pecked at. Frustrated, the Headmaster leader reaches out with his big blue mitts and attempts to clamp his hands around Cutthroat, "Stop interfering, what possible gains would any of you have if Cybertron is brought over to Earth? This is unnecessary genocide!"

The next time Motormaster sticks his head up to try blasting away at Kup and Loadout, he gets a face full of ions! (*ptang*) Staggering back with a hand to his dented head, Motormaster reluctantly transforms and rolls back the way he came! The duo of Kup and Loadout is even more formidable than Impactor/Loadout, apparently! "I swear by the Axe of Straxus I'll find some way to break you!" Motormaster curses over the equivalent of his shoulder as he drives away, engine knocking noisily.
Motormaster slams his great mass to the ground, converting into a big black cabover semi.
Combat: Kenworth K100 Aerodyne <Motormaster> begins retreating, outrunning all pursuit.

Krakenoid <Tentakil> flips off Scattershot eight times as he waddles off to safety or it could just be his tentacles writhing as normal as he retreats, the hunt will wait for another day.

<Autobot> Loadout huffs and puffs. "Is he...is he falling back finally? System temperature nearly critical...
Mechanical Wyvern <Cutthroat> is grabbed and gripped tightly! His wings start to crinkle like tinfoil as Fortress Maximus tries to crush him. "Let me go so me can tear you apart!" he squawks, kicking with his feet and pecking at the hand that's got him.
Combat: Mechanical Wyvern <Cutthroat> misses Fortress Maximus with his When Animals attack!
<Autobot> Kup says, "I can just yank his fragging head off if you need a cool down, kid."
<Autobot> Loadout says, "I'll be...I'll be fine. With a few moments to recharge some. Yes, I'd better disengage, even if temporarily."
Galvatron is booted off of his nemesis, stumbling back, and before he has a moment to recover, Rodimus Prime has seized him and hurled him straight at the lens. "What!? No, no, NOOOOOO!" Galvatron screams as he is flung right at the priceless artifact. He smashes into it face first, and as the lens shatters to pieces, Galvatron appears to be stretched out like he was made of rubber, thinner and thinner, approaching a point of infinite length, but never quite reaching it. "Rodimus PriiiiiIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIME!!!!" Galvatron screams.
And then, Galvatron is gone.
The psychadelic colors fade, the room darkens, and the rumbling from the planetary engines comes to a halt.
<Autobot> Kup says, "'kay, hide behind me or whatever cover you can get, kiddo."
<Decepticon> Motormaster says, "I hear bellowing. What's going on back there?"
<Decepticon> Carnivac says, "Galvatron fall down the subspace hoooooole."
"Ahahahaha -- whu?" Carnivac stops shooting for a moment, lowering his rifle and glancing one way, then the other as both the Seacon and the Stunticon are leaving. Looks back to the remaining fighters who would be in between him and trying to do something to help Galvatron. Not the best of odds. A sane mech would probably just run away.
Hell, at this point an insane mech would probably run away.
"Well, that certainly puts a damper on things." There's a brief pause, but as he transforms the manic grin returns to his now lupine lips. "On the bright side, the war goes on. Yay for war!" It ends in a howling peal of laughter as he scrambles for the exit.
Carnivac drops to all fours, turning into a mechanical wolf.
Combat: Mecha Fenrir Wolf <Carnivac> sets his defense level to Protected.
Combat: Mecha Fenrir Wolf <Carnivac> begins retreating, outrunning all pursuit.
<Decepticon> Astrotrain says, "...really?"
<Decepticon> Monitron says, "This is Monitron, reporting from Darkmount Command and Control. Ahhh... we just lost contact with Nightsiege."
<Decepticon> Astrotrain says, "...this may not be good. I don't think the Boss has ever been healthy for any kinda contraption he's been thrown into before."
Shaken out of his stupor, Soundwave suddenly realizes that he is for the moment, top guy. "Decepticons...." he says, and pauses, standing up..."Retreat." he finishes, and ducks for the exit himself.
Combat: Soundwave begins retreating, leaving himself vulnerable to parting shots from Mecha Fenrir Wolf <Carnivac>, Rodimus Prime, Mechanical Wyvern <Cutthroat>, Galvatron, and Fortress Maximus
<Decepticon> Carnivac says, "It would seem this grand scheme has hit the inevitable backfire..."
<Decepticon> Astrotrain says, "Well look at the bright side. I'm half a galaxy away from it!"
"Do you even understand what I'm asking? Why do you continue to follow a lunatic like Galvatron?! He's willing to move our own homeworld to Earth itself just to annihilate a civilization that's technologically inferior to us! I'm not asking you to stop him, but you can call it quits now and leave..." Fortress Maximus asks, his tone become more and more agitated as the Horrorcon in his grips continues to superficially injure his large hands and eventually the Headmaster leader balls up his other free hand into a fist and attempts to drop it down on top of Cutthroat's head as an added incentive for Decepticon flee, "...I suggest you do so."
<Decepticon> Tentakil says, "We have to hit Backfire?"
Combat: Fortress Maximus misses Mechanical Wyvern <Cutthroat> with his Bop across the noggin' attack! [Pulled -4]
<Decepticon> Carnivac says, "On the other hand, it also means the war isn't stopping and we still get to beat them up!"
<Decepticon> Carnivac long pause. "... Just not tonight."
Battlestation <Scattershot> transforms into his Scattershot mode.
Scattershot walks towards the spot where Galvatron disappeared, Soundwave's command of 'retreat' barely registering in his processor. "Wait...that's it? He's GONE?"
Combat: Scattershot sets his defense level to Neutral.
Combat: Scattershot takes extra time to steady himself. [Pass]
<Decepticon> Monitron says, "I... ahem, we just moved a recon satellite over Nightsiege. The entire city's gone. It's just... gone."
<Decepticon> Astrotrain says, "Hehehe, well that's war for ya. Funky effects, cities go missing an..."
<Decepticon> Astrotrain says, "...wait a minute. MY STASH! YOU MANIACS, WHAT'D YOU DO!!?"
<Decepticon> Carnivac says, "Considering the weird slag that was goin' on in that chamber, a city disappearing is just the topping."
Rodimus Prime pants as Galvatron vanishes, then straighten and turns to look around. All the other Decepticons ahave gone... except one. He turns to look at Cutthroat, pulling himsellf up tall. Then he summons his photon eliminator from subspace and takes a moment to aim it for the Terrorcon. "Leave. Now," he demands. But that's not a warning - he fires anyway, though he lacks the strength to use more than low power.
Ion Assault Cannon <Loadout> is suddenly wreathed in a thick cloud of steam that erupts in all directions from every single cooling vent he has on his body. His status panel begins to flash brightly, showing a red outline and a blinking display.

ENERGON CRITICAL
HEAT LEVELS CRITICAL -- SHUTDOWN IMMINENT
More steam continues to gush out from his vents as he finally transforms, an automatic response as he disengages from Kup's right arm, lifting into the air and dropping back behind the old Autobot.
And falling flat onto his backside, hands bracing on the ground as he looks towards the sky, 'gasping' for air to cool his systems as fast as he can. "....guh, I've never felt so lightheaded in my entire life!"
<Decepticon> Carnivac says, "It's Rodimus' fault, he threw Galvatron into the machine!"
The cannon splits at the muzzle and the stock, spinning in the center and unfolding into the Autobot Loadout.
Combat: Rodimus Prime strikes Mechanical Wyvern <Cutthroat> with his Photon Eliminator attack! [Pulled -9]
Combat: Loadout takes extra time to steady himself. [Pass]
A booming voice announces from the ether, "8 OF 12. THE DEVOURER DRAWS NEAR."
<Autobot> Fortress Maximus says, "The devourer?"
Kup's optics narrow as it all goes pear-shaped and all the /smart/ Decepticons run... and the one idiot gets smote by Rodimus. He transforms to his truck mode to get going just when that voice booms, an all he can say is, "Awww, /SLAG/."
Kup turns into a pickup truck, nothing fancy, but he can tell you, there was a day when transforming into anything at all was something special.
The Global Pose Tracker marks that Cybertruck <Kup> has 'skipped' his action for this round.
<Decepticon> Carnivac says, ".. What was that? That wasn't the normal voice in my head telling me to chew on things and expel used oil on Autobot tires..."
<Autobot> Kup says, "Just what we needed."
<Autobot> Rodimus Prime says, "... Er. Sorry, guys. Was caught up in the whole 'don't get murdered' moment."
<Autobot> Grimlock says, "Hnh?"
<Autobot> Jayson Redfield says, "Man...I wish I was there with you guys. I hate just *listening* to the situation."
Loadout tilts his head forward, still panting for 'breath' as he recovers from the massive energy drain he just went through. The booming voice draws a tilt of his head to one side again, as he slowly pushes back to his feet and begins to follow the others. "Devourer? I don't...I don't understand."
Carnivac has left.
<Decepticon> Tentakil says, "Sounded like a countdown of something fun, i better tell the others we might be getting another hungry mouth."
"Could mean Unicron," Rodimus says thoughtfully, rubbing his chin. "But... those things are supposed to be a seal, and Unicron's been inside our reality for awhile. He /should/ be gone now, but... he was never sealed /out/, just /in/."
<Autobot> Scattershot says, "Devourer? Frak it, let him come. We'll kick his aft too!"
Mechanical Wyvern <Cutthroat> realizes something's up. He may be of lower intelligence, but he's not completely brainless, and retreats with the others. "Arawk, tear you apart later! Or let something else tear you up!"
Combat: Mechanical Wyvern <Cutthroat> begins retreating, leaving himself vulnerable to parting shots from Loadout, Cybertruck <Kup>, Soundwave, Rodimus Prime, Scattershot, Galvatron, and Fortress Maximus
Fortress Maximus turns around to face the other Autobots, he too, like Loadout, is unaware of the history behind the Devourer, although he has had a chance to read up small tidbits of detail on Unicron. He has yet to make the connection. "Unicron? Isn't his head still floating in orbit of Cybertron?"
<Autobot> Decibel says, "Adjusting Orion's holding position to confirm transmission data. Geez, you guys don't do anything small do you?"
"Yeah, but that hasn't stopped his mind from causing problems since then," Rodimus answers, sighing. "For awhile, I had to contain his essence in the Matrix to keep it from causing trouble but then it, erm, started corrupting the Matrix. I purged him. I think he's dead, but... I'm not sure."
<Autobot> Rodimus Prime says, "What are you talking about?"
<Autobot> Grimlock says, "Hn? You guys blowed up septi-con city? Great!"
<Autobot> Decibel says, "Nightsiege is missing. Gone, not there, poof."
<Autobot> Rodimus Prime says, "... Really?"
<Autobot> Rodimus Prime says, "Great!"
<Autobot> Jayson Redfield says, "Sweet!"
Loadout also did some reading up. But it's different to look at something like it's history and actually having lived through it. He spent Unicron's initial attack being unconscious under Cybertron's surface afterall.
"Back in my day things were alot simpler..." he mutters aloud. He's ALMOST sounding like Kup.
<Autobot> Decibel says, "Looking at the long range scans now and well it's not there. How did you manage that one?"
<Autobot> Jayson Redfield says, "Magic, I bet!"
<Autobot> Grimlock says, "Yeah! Do it agains! Or better, let me Grimlock do it!"
