Description
Compared to the other "armor breaker," Disintegrate has a very high cost in energon/ammunition, but it demolishes the target's armor. One shot with Disintegrate on it will almost entirely destroy the average Transformer's armor in robot mode, and depending on what they turn into, may entirely remove their armor when transformed. Like Shatter, Disintegrate affects all modes' armor at the same time.
Disintegrate does work at level 0.
Strategy
As a Rare effect, you are more likely to be targeted by Disintegrate than to get to use it yourself. When encountering one of the few characters who can Disintegrate, bear in mind that whatever attack carries the Disintegrate effect is at least as expensive as a full-power Plasma (the level 6 legacy attack) shot. This means that if the Disintegrating attack is ammo, they will have few shots with it, and if it is energon, they won't be able to fire it often. Try not to let it hit you, so that they waste their chance and probably most of their energon along with it. If it does hit you, try not to let anyone hit you again by dodging a lot.
