The Junkions value Beta immensely for his ability to tape their favorite television shows. He enjoys entertaining his fellow Junkions and Autobots. However, he is extremely valuable for informational purposes as he can play back any of his tapes' recordings in his VCR mode. In robot mode, he carries a powerful gun which can shoot missiles at his enemies. He can also stun his opponents if he feels like it by pressing the pause button on his chest, stopping them in their tracks.
