Once a medical scout named Outlander, ash had crashed on Earth over 4 million years ago after following the trail of the missing Ark. She believes that Ultra Magnus, who was in command after Optimus Prime's disappearance, had planned for the deaths of Optimus Prime and his crew when the ark crashed, as well as anyone who looked into this crash, such as herself and her commander Spectre, who died in Ash's crash. She awakened on Earth in the year 2000 BC, and ever since, Ash has been paranoid of Cybertronians in general. Upon landing on earth, she discovered humans, whom she devoted her life to studying and hopefully one day conversing with.
